Privacy Policy

Effective September 3, 2026 · Applies to laonio.com

This policy explains what personal information Pi R Squared Holdings LLC (“Laonio”) collects when you use laonio.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect what we need to take, deliver, and support your order, and not much else.

The short version

  • We collect your name, email, and shipping address to fulfil orders. Card details go straight to Stripe.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
  • Order data is shared only with the parties who need it: Stripe, our warehouses and carriers, and our email provider.
  • A referral cookie lasts 30 days and only records which link brought you here.
  • Site analytics is first-party only, with no third-party pixels, and you can switch it off below.
  • You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time by email.

This summary is for convenience. The full policy below is what applies.

1.Information we collect

Information you give us. When you order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and, optionally, a phone number. If you create an account, we store a password hash (never the password itself). If you contact us, we keep the message and your reply address. If you add picks to a public page, the name and note you choose to show are public.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites we receive your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, which we use for security, to prevent fraud, and to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, until you check out.

Information from others. Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded and provides a payment reference. Carriers provide tracking status. We do not receive your full card number from anyone.

2.How we use it

  • To process, ship, and deliver your order, and to send confirmations and tracking updates.
  • To handle returns, refunds, and support requests.
  • To operate the rewards program, including preventing self-referral and duplicate accounts.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the site secure.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

3.Cookies and similar technology

We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie when you sign in, a cookie that remembers a browser has signed in before (so we can offer to apply your store credit), a referral cookie set when you arrive through a friend’s link, which lasts 30 days and records only the referral code, and two analytics cookies described in the next section. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, but guest checkout still works.

4.Analytics & your choices

To understand which pages and products people look at, we run our own analytics on our own servers. It uses two first-party cookies: mf_vid, a random identifier for this browser that lasts one year, and mf_sid, which groups one visit and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We record the pages you view and actions such as adding to cart, together with your device type, the site that referred you, and a truncated, hashed form of your IP address. We never record your name, email, address, or anything you type other than search terms.

No third-party analytics or advertising pixels are loaded, and analytics data is never sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. Raw analytics events are deleted after 13 months; only aggregated totals are kept longer.

Opting out. Use the switch below to turn analytics identifiers off in this browser. We also honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals automatically. When either is set, we only count page views without any identifier.

Site analytics on this browser

On. First-party only; nothing is shared with advertisers.

5.Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the store:

  • Payment processing: Stripe, Inc., which handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
  • Fulfilment and delivery: the warehouse that packs your order and the carrier that delivers it receive your name, address, and phone number.
  • Independent sellers: if you buy a product listed by a marketplace seller, that seller receives the shipping details needed to send it.
  • Email delivery: the service that sends order and account emails.
  • Legal: when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6.Referral and group features

When someone orders through your link, you are told that a friend ordered and, later, that their order was delivered. You are never shown their name, email, or address. On a group order page, other participants see only the first initial of the names of people who have joined. Your public picks page shows only the products and note you chose to add, never your order history.

7.How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to handle returns, resolve disputes, and meet tax and accounting requirements, typically seven years. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Contact messages are kept for two years. Aggregated, de-identified data may be kept indefinitely.

8.Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Payment details never touch our servers. Access to order data is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders and provide support. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by law.

9.Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will verify the request using the email address on the order or account and respond within 30 days. We may keep records we are legally required to keep.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

Marketing email, if we ever send it, will include an unsubscribe link. Order and account emails are transactional and are sent regardless.

10.Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.Where data is processed

Laonio operates in the United States and stores data on servers located there. If you order from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect.

13.Contact
